Also I have recieved a memo from Lincs FA to say that all items of jewellery must be removed by players in all matches. This includes the removal of wedding rings which you were previously allowed to tape up, the FA have stated this is no longer acceptable. If you are worried about the security of such items then I suggest you leave these at home on Sunday mornings.

Your requested commitment to the club

Match day times; Players are asked to arrive at the ground by 10.00am (home games) to help put nets up and 10.15am (away games) at the latest, after this time a place in the starting line up cannot be guaranteed.

Subs: Match subs are £3.00 for each fixture unless stated.

Bookings: Players are reminded that they are to meet any fines through referee’s bookings.

Social Club Fee: All club members are to join the Memorial Hall Social Club at a one off fee of £3 for the year. This fee enable access the club house facilities after every home game, anytime during week and at our other events.

Availability: If you are unavailable for any of the fixtures please inform either Ian or Nick the week before the match or as soon as possible. Also note that dates currently detailed to be confirmed (TBC) are often left open for cup fixtures or other re arranged fixtures so please check with your team mates if we have a game or not before assuming there is no fixture.

Team Kit Wash: Everyone is to take two turns at washing half the kit (i.e. all the shirts or the socks and shorts). If the team cannot agree to take this on and it is obviously unfair on the same individuals washing the kit after each game, then we will arrange a laundry wash which may mean a rise in subs to cover this expense. No extra hot washes that knacker the kit please!

Returning your Kit: If you cannot make a fixture please ensure your kit is returned to us!! We have lost several kits over the last few seasons through some players selfishly, failing to return their kit, so if you can’t play make sure you get it to us or someone can collect it otherwise Nick will hunt you down with his pack of dogs!! .

Also, following his recent successful hip operation, Nick Jones is selling his trusty mobility chair prior to the forth coming season. A rejuvenated Nick says 'my new hip should offer me improved manoevourability in my mid-field role this season although I shall be sad to see my old chair go.' As the new season looms it would be great if a good home for this useful old-timer's, footballing accessory could be found.

Anyone interested in the chair (pictured below) should contact Nick at training.
