Training and Night Out

Hello All,

Well here is my first post as the new manager of Bailgate and I am pleased to announce that we do have training this week. It will take place on Thursday evening at 6pm at our home ground and will last until it gets too dark although we will have the small floodlights near the bowling green, we couldn't get a pitch anywhere else but as we need a training session this will have to do for this week and I am looking to make a booking at the uni so that we have a session at the same time every week. It would be good if everyone could make it on Thursday as I need to take a look at the players Ive got and we all need to get used to playing with each other and training is the best way of doing that.

I also feel its important that we improve team spirit after our recent results and think it important that we have an evening out as a team. So I suggest that we all go out either this Friday the 5th of October or the week after on the 12th, if you could let me know whether you can make it or not and then we'll go the night that most people can make it. I think we should go bowling as a team first and then head in to town for a few cheeky ones!!! Kev Scott better only have 1 or 2 tho if last times anything to go by!!!

BAILGATE HAVE A NEW MANAGER

After the game on Sunday PC resigned as Manager, he will however continue as 1st choice Goalkeeper. He has stated that he could not continue to be both the Manager & the Goalkeeper of the team at the same time.

May I take this opportunity to thank Paul for his efforts over pre season and the start of the new season and hope his excellent goalkeeping continues for Bailgate.

I am pleased to announce that the new Manager of Bailgate will be Kev Carlisle(KC). This is Kev's 1st go at management so hopefully everyone will get behind him and give him their full support as we look to improve upon are poor start to the season.
