Due to squad size and injuries I have made a number of changes this week so in light of this please try to understand these changes. I do want to give all squad players the opportunity to play and I accept there are a number of players (6 of the 14) who did not train this week yet have made the squad but after last weeks second half performance I feel some changes needed to be made.

Attendance at training every Wednesday (7pm) will be a contributing factor to team selection each Sunday, please try to make it if you are committed to playing on Sundays.

SQUAD DETAILS

Where possible each player is to retain their squad number throughout the season. Keep your shirt after the game, only socks and shorts to be handed in. Please ensure your shirt is available should it be required the following week or if you cannot make the match. Obviously the club only has 15 shirts so players (*) will be nominated a squad number on match day.

Please look after the kit you are given i.e no vic on the front of the shirt, no extra hot washes and no ironing the numbers & sponsor logo please.

Some of the pitch still has to be marked out before Sunday's match so I will be at the ground from 8.30am to mark this out and would appreciate a hand from anyone who is able to turn up at this time as this is a two-man job. This fixture has now been postponed due to the cricket club still playing their last game of the season on the 16th Sept and the posts/pitch will not be sorted until the middle of next week.

Fixture is now scheduled to be played on 7th January 2007 so put this on your fixture list please.

I am attempting to organise a friendly for this Sunday so I will keep you posted as soon as I get any news.

Training continues every Wednesday at 7pm for all those who can make it.
