As most of you are aware by now, due to both family & work commitments I stepped down as manager of the club at the close of last season.
Those of you who made it to training last Sunday will now know that Paul Chambers has officially taken on the managerial post with immediate effect. While I do aim to offer the club as much help as I am able, I would like to take the opportunity to thank Paul for his commitment to the club and personally wish him every success in his new role as club manager.
Nick Jones will keep up his good work as club treasurer/special events organiser and Andy Parkinson will be handling the club secretarial duties.
I am sure you will all pull together and give Paul, Nick & Andy your full support for the coming season, commitment that both Paul and the club need to successfully continue the good, honest footballing reputation that Bailgate Athletic FC continues to maintain.
