A message from Marc Elvidge

Hello chaps,
Just a quick message to say thank you for all the best wishes messages you've sent me on facebook or through Kev, and a massive thanks for the card, dvd's and Everton Shirt. It must have been nice for all the Liverpool fans amongst you to spend their well earned money on a decent shirt for a change!

The latest is i've had the plaster taken off, and i can start putting a little bit of weight on my leg as and when i feel comfortable. For those who don't know i spent 4 nights in hospital and had a nail put into my leg from knee to ankle to help the bone heal properly. The nail will be in there for good, so i'll be setting off plenty of metal detectors going through any airport security! Because it was such a bad break i have decided to call it a day in regards to playing football, if it was just a fracture or small break it may have been different. I will be along to see you all at some point as i am going to get you all to sign the Everton shirt as a little keepsake, which i will then put in a frame and put up in the house somewhere.

You are a great bunch of lads and have a great chance of being successful this season (even with kev as manager!) so carry on the good start and you'll be fine!

Take care everyone and thanks again

Marc
